I’m a child of the 1970s, who was routinely promised flying cars in the future, and wrote school essays about what life would be like in the year 2000. The Nissan Leaf battery pack alone costs about $18,000 (though government incentives bring down the overall vehicle cost to the customer).

Inspired by Mark Solon , and organized through Globe Aware , we worked in a school for the children of migrant workers who have no government services. some of the buildings there house displays of artifacts including some that are over 2000 years old. and spicy green beans. Mission accomplished. some are just day students.
