Before I started my first company in 1999 I worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Soon after he was promoted to Senior Architect, our highest role without being CTO. We told him we’d file all the legal papers, pay for his move and normalize his salary with San Francisco. This is part of my Startup Advice series.
