Because you think Google 2006, 2007, if you searched for a really niche keyword, like how to write a press release or something, there were some results but there weren’t that many. So for example, a B2B national company that sells say like software as opposed to a B2C local company that does I don’t know, basement waterproofing.

A quick look around all the B2C startups shows that, although viral growth is often hoped for, in reality it is extremely rare. What is Twitter hadn't gone to SXSW in 2007? When it does happen, the associated businesses are usually extremely attractive, provided they have a way to monetize their customers. This is a mistake.
