The original Innovation Pipeline sketch – 2016. I spent yesterday sifting through the most recent lessons learned and results from a series of accelerators BMNT is running for the intelligence community. A Navy team recently sourced 80 problems, then curated down to one priority problem to solve.

Back in 2016, I read a book called Sprint by Jake Knapp, founder of Google Ventures. Outside of business development, outreach is an excellent opportunity to make friends with and learn from other in-house marketers, creatives, and senior decision-makers. Bonus points if you can create a community that brings them together.

The short answer was no and whilst many of the businesses present had a large technology component to their company, with customdeveloped software etc they could not present themselves as a tech company. All lending companies need to stop being so safe, so repeatable, so traditional and dare one say it male-oriented.
