In my experience, the initial idea for a new product usually comes from a single entrepreneur, but the implementation plan for a new business requires a team, or at least a co-founder. As a mentor to aspiring business owners, I often get asked to find that partner for them, since founders are usually too busy with their solution.

He previously cofounded Scintera, a fabless semiconductor company in 2001. The options moved from voice recognition to fingerprint identification, and facial recognition.

I had been in the NY tech scene since 2008/2009 and was just, generally, trying to be helpful to founders, investors, etc. Before becoming a founder, I worked at Aviary for two years and then Dwolla for two years (the latter with my future cofounder Michael Schonfeld ). We built it to over $100k in MRR. It’s been a lot of fun.
