While VCs are the toughest nut to crack, there are many other (often better) sources of seedcapital that may be available to you. That’s why investors attend Demo Days and look for acceptance into such programs as one of several ‘validators’ of a startup.
We build a basic deck together and ideally a simple demo. Once we’ve executed all the steps above, we go to VCs and raise seedcapital of $1-2m. Please note this is a personal initiative, not an initiative of any of the VC firms or other institutions with which I am affiliated. This work is unpaid. We’re off to the races!
