First of all, it means that most aggregate measures of success, like total revenue, are not very useful. Whats the right set of materials, conversations, etc. First of all, they are not selling their product by hand.

Instead of distributing bulky customer satisfaction surveys, where even your managers don’t know what to do with the results, you have only one question, one metric to deal with. But that’s just aggregate information, not totally useful because it’s not your specific industry. Kind of like a good conversion rate in that sense, then.

Only one of the above goals is connected to a "hard" conversion (leads generated, Goal 2). Remember the goals are a mix of hard and soft conversions (see above)!

The latter is particularly useful as an aggregated view for senior executives. A value close to 1 indicates that this channel functioned equally in an assist role and as the final conversion interaction.
