The company hit a big milestone with our first inoculations of the large, open, artificial ponds growing algae in the NewMexico desert. We trade off resources for agility, which I love, and the need to be resourceful. It was a great accomplishment; the ponds were a beautiful green with algae. Finally, it’s all about the team.
If you have the core of your team together but a few key developers live in Oregon, Ohio or NewMexico and don’t want to move to a big, expensive city I’m fine with that but make it a small minority. As your company develops you’ll obviously need to hire sales talent in multiple locations.
