I met the co-founder Laura Oden when I was in Anchorage last month to speak at the Accelerate Alaska event. When you think of Alaska, you probably do not think of it as a popular location for producing shoes. While Alaska is not a shoe capital, it is now headquarters to a shoe company addressing a global problem.

They’ve already rolled out integrations with Cheezburger Networks and BuddyTV and have a pile of additional publishers launching in the next 90 days. I expect I’ll be spending plenty more there soon, including a few next week on my way to Alaska. BigDoor straddles our Glue and Distribution themes.
