The leadership centers of the microcomputer world shifted from Albuquerque to the San Fernando Valley (LA), the Bay Area, and Seattle. It’s not always easy to “break in” to a new community. Tech communities have similar pecking orders , and some are more accommodating that others. Deals were getting done there.
