Personally, I believe that the Semantic Web will become mainstream in the next few years (I actually have a bet on this with some college friends). After reading the wonderful blogpost on the BBC’s dynamic semantic publishing system , it reminded me that the Semantic Web has two audiences: the common web user (my mom) and developers.
Advertising has driven the majority of Internet innovation. Users were outraged. “The Internet is free, you can’t make money off it! I know that it sounds weird to those that don’t remember those days but people were pissed off that the Internet was becoming commercialized. It’s for all of us.
Dont blame the programmer if your internet platform or softwares not selling itself.
