You can't expect to grow and manage, like you mentioned, there's so many updates across all the algorithms, all the different channels that you're expected to be on. It's a tough world out there, especially when you're asked to be, have a consistent presence on eight different social channels. Do more with less channels.
And that looks different for a B2C journey versus a B2B journey. So on the B2C side, that could be TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, and on B2B side, that could be maybe they're searching in LinkedIn or YouTube again, or software SaaS searching like Capterra or something like that. And then from there, we're able to do written content.
As marketers, we create and curate engaging content, broadcast it to all the right channels and measure how it performs. But without a way to bridge the gap between content and lead nurturing, it’s sink or swim as marketers are forced to scramble across all channels and take a shot in the dark at real results.
B2C sales and customer acquisition efforts are a different matter (and one I''ll perhaps address in a future blog), but for B2B, those three models are the most common pattern. I''ll discuss each one below. 1) Enterprise Sales. Generating a high volume of leads for the telephone sales rep is the key to making this model work.

And then finally, our shareable moment is kind of the advocate part of the buyer's journey is it's a swag store or it's content that you've created that they can share or those whitepapers.
And so it’s not just about creating eBooks and blog posts and whitepapers, and you know, all the things that, you know, we can add up and say, “Look at all the content we have.” And what are your suggestions on how somebody figures out what the best social channel is for their business?
The basic techniques you use to do search engine optimization between b2b and b2c do not change all that much. Ok All that is the same, no matter if you are a b2b, b2c, b2a (business to aliens, yes they do exist!). This is of course a good method for b2c as well, but it is significantly more important for b2b.
I’ve seen online B2C startups use Dave McClure’s Startup Metrics for Pirates as a starting point for measuring what marketing is doing. One other basic metric I’d add is “Cost per channel&# (web, print, tradeshow, etc…) and tie in how many each channel is generating, so you get a ROI by channel as well.
However, with every new technology, channel, and distraction served up by the internet, that journey becomes less linear, and the traditional funnel becomes less relevant. Social media, on the other hand, are browsing channels. Conversion rate per channel. Measure the success of the channel (e.g., Image source.
