While the business revenue grew, their profitability was never enough where they didn’t have to take on debt and were surviving check by check. When businesses take profit first they are forced to become more innovative and find better ways to do things more efficiently… and in many cases the revenue increases.

We pay for an employee and their guest to come on the cruise with us. This year we’re doing a 4-night Norwegian cruise to the Bahamas. Most companies in our industry try to do everything they can to bring in revenue, and I’ve definitely suffered from that mindset with my past businesses. Focus and clarity.
