We rely on communities of people that help us get to where we want to go. I realized this, that every story of success is really a story of community. It was standing time around a community of people. I remember interviewing this family who moved to Burundi, the second poorest country in the world, located in East Africa.

And in fact, The Lean Startup is very much that. For example, Santa Clara had a community-spread case early in March. If something like that happens, you want to close everything, because it's a community spread. It's focused on how to learn as fast as possible with as little cost as possible.
