I lived through the time when working in my first job in Ann Arbor Michigan we had to get out a map to find out that San Jose was not only in Puerto Rico but there was a city with that same name in California. The founders were simply wrong about their assumptions about customer needs. Founders Need to Run the Company Longer.

We held our annual business plan competition at San Jose State this month and first prize was $10,000. Also, if it turns out he neglected his girlfriend too much while starting up the company, hell certainly have the opportunity to meet plenty of co-eds as he hands out flyers for the site on campus. Since the iControl system chronicles all meetings, I was able to find the automatic picture snapped from my first meeting with the founders, Reza Raji and Chris Stevens on April 22, 2004. Now that iControl has raised over $100M, this got me thinking back to our original business plan.
