CustomerDevelopment is a technique startups use to quickly iterate and test each part of their businessmodel. How you execute CustomerDevelopment varies, depending on your type of business. In my book, “ The Four Steps to the Epiphany ” I use enterprise software as the businessmodel example.
I asked Tsutsumi-san to write a guest post for my blog to describe his experience with CustomerDevelopment in Japan. Amazon did not carry it yet, and I was nervous spending money at a website known mostly for cups and t-shirts, completely irrelevant to business books. Evangelizing CustomerDevelopment in Japan.
The most visible step was the first International BusinessModel Competition , hosted by the BYU Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.
