It was designed to bring together many of the new approaches to building a successful startup – customer development, agile development, businessmodel generation and pivots. Could we even could find 40 Stanford graduate students interested in being guinea pigs for this new class? This post is part one.
Our businessmodel nudges us slightly toward the sound, safe (stodgy?) We work with clients to get them off the ground with a platform to build their business. As the technical partner, we want to be real partners in the business-making sure the technology helps achieve the business objectives.
To successful create or grow any business you need a plan. In essence, a plan or design for the day to day running of your business is all that a businessmodel actually is. But not just any businessmodel will do; you need one designed for your specific business and one that can be adapted as and when you need it to be.
Wouldn’t it be great if, instead of having to fight, hunt, and practically beg for each new sale, you could set up a business in such a way that all your customers paid you regularly, time and time again? To give you an idea about what is out there, here are a few areas where the subscription businessmodel has excelled.
As a passionate business student, my wheels started turning and I saw the potential of creating a businessmodel out of what I was already doing: sharing spices, recipes & food with my friends. Food is a way to connect everyone, regardless of our world views, history, beliefs or experiences. I was tired.
What matters is proving the viability of the company’s businessmodel, what investors call “traction.&# Of course this is not at all true of many profitable small businesses, but they are not what I mean by startups.) Start using some of those customers as guinea pigs for a self-serve version of the product.
We have a unique businessmodel that allows us to be the most competitive lender in the space, by either working with lending partners or originating the loans ourselves.
