My reply was that attribution modeling might not be present in a physical manner, but that it should be there below the surface to ensure our executives have a smarter understanding of a channel's true contribution. If we are getting so much better at getting traffic, how come our conversion rate is essentially flat?

The great thing about this strategy is you already have a conversion mechanism. I just added more advertising until I combined multiple channels of income and generated some good return that way. Improve conversions. Just do some basic conversion improvement. 1% conversion rate to produce that kind of income.
