For those that don’t know, I live in downtown Oakland which has been one of the protest flashpoints. Please understand, Black people are exhausted, angry, afraid, hopeful, and grieving -- all at the same time. On Friday night, the Target near my house, which is where I go to get the majority of my essentials, was looted and set on fire.

We discussed NY vs. Silicon Valley and NY vs. Boston.
