In late 2011, Summit rallied the community to raise nearly $1 million to create a marine reserve the size of Manhattan in the island chain that hosted Summit at Sea. They helped the health technology company Basis raise its Series A through the Summit community. But once they saw Eden, Utah the decision to move solidified quickly.
