Successful women in the investment community need to be on the lookout for them and support them by funding, giving access to resources or simple advising.

I just got back from a week in Israel having spent some time in Jerusalem for an Answers board meeting and then making my way to the Ohalo Resort on the Sea of Galilee for Kinnernet 2006. Kinnernet is a techie geek camp organized and run by Yossi Vardi (cofounder of ICQ).

Location issues were given as a reason for failure 6% of the time. 3 – Not the right team.

Inevitably, the excuses begin: I need to hire people to build the product. Post launch, if you gain traction, is where the business person will help take the load off of the technical folks. The business person can take all the meetings while the technical folks work on making the product better. I don’t know any developers.
