My wife, Ann, and I took a trip this past spring to visit Estonia, Finland, Ireland and Russia. Two hundred angels, entrepreneurs and members of the startup community attended this inaugural event. Tallinn is the capital of Estonia, located just across the Bay of Finland from Helsinki.

In my view, we can do a better job of forming strong tech communities. We don’t have a ‘Paypal’ mafia, a Netscape brethren or an equivalent strong network in tech.
