There were a lot of questions about outsourcing/offshoring and startups. I dont see any reason why having the team offshore is any more of a liability in this area than, say, having to do this work while selling through a channel (and hence, not having direct access to customers). Talk about waste.
Do we have an internet connected product/app? Do we have offshore developers? Hire qualified internal resources or outsource as needed for the required IT positions. Bring on a security-conscious CTO at the beginning. Do we have store fronts? Are we collecting/storing sensitive information?
