Describe the Digs product/service in 10 words or less. Digs is a savings product that helps renters transition into homeownership. We have sent hundreds of volunteers to help communities in need, all the way from Haiti to Nepal. I also think that funding the product ourselves made us improve how we monetize the product.

Imprue ( [link] ) is a company dedicated to manufacturing and designing quality cases and accessories for all major cell phones. One of the cases they make is the Sikh design iPhone case that was released in 2012, patterned with the Khanda symbol, inspiring unity and bringing awareness to the tragic Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting in August.

She was always able to get into the weeds on product or biz dev discussions. Showing me designs. She speaks about ethical sourcing of eco-friendly products. Kara perfected that.

Those were fun, relaxing, and rejuvenating experiences, but they were designed to be comfortable and real vacations. What’s missing for the lumberjack is the realization that his saw needs to be sharpened in order to keep up his level of productivity. Help Haiti recover. Being Uncomfortable. Go to Antarctica. I landed my first international travel consulting gig with Blue Marble Dreams and traveled to Haiti to open an ice cream shop. 2 – New Product. Here’s my accomplishment in the past year: MehtaFor received a statewide Career Opportunity Grant, designed for working artists and their companies.

One of the big challenges for many new start-ups is separating themselves from the competition and spreading awareness of the brand/product/service. Using biodegradable bubble wrap, the company’s PR company then donated it all to Oxfam to ship goods to Haiti after the country suffered the devastating 2010 earthquake.
