They are currently working in Morocco and Malawi, but hope to expand to all 54 African nations. The first staff person is the biggest hurdle, we’d need enough money in the bank to ensure their employment for at least six months, and we need to hire someone good. I got both my logo and website design through crowdSPRING.

We put together a solid business plan, worked through our competitive advantages, hired the vendors we needed. We began to realize that our goals had to be about more than just lifestyle design. For every bottle sold, we give 5 years of clean water to a person in Ghana (we’ve helped people in Namibia and Malawi in the past too!).

As I watched the new CEO hire and fire 3 regional VP’s I finally sat him down. I couldn’t sew or draw so becoming a fashion designer was out.
