Khan came up with the Smart Parka concept after enjoying five Canadian winters in the years since he moved to Toronto from his native Pakistan. Having advanced that curve on the Smart Parka’s design and the Kickstarter funding to help North Aware move to the manufacturing phase, he’s now learning about other issues critical to entrepreneurs.
