We have three universities in the top 100 of the Shanghai ranking for engineering and technology. But I think its fair to say that the Dutch post-World War II welfare state isn’t exactly breeding the young and hungry entrepreneur you find in Turkey, Romania and Estonia. However we lack some prerequisites for a great ecosystem.

He truly led me to becoming an author and technology commentator. The Stranger from Romania – Raul Oaida – was my co-conspirator in creating the world’s first ever drivable lego car. Ross helped me understand social media, blogging, and the emerging business models the internet was facilitating. I’m excited.

It’s clear to me that our economic divide is also a technological divide and unless we solve this economic disparity will persist. I know we have a budget deficit and as an economic conservative I believe in smaller government. Every government form in England seemed to ask questions about my parents. We have much to do.

He introduced me to Christian Gheorghe, founder of TIAN Software, a predictive analytics company acquired by OutlookSoft, where, as Chief Technology Officer, he introduced important and innovative Enterprise Performance Management applications into the market. OutlookSoft was eventually acquired by SAP.

In 2005 he was graduated and took a job in South Carolina working for technology company while he started his own web design company on the side. He started another company on the side while he was working during the day at a technology company. As a technologist he felt the US was “ground zero&# for technology innovation.
