Applications are now open to become a Global Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Michigan’s Economic Growth Institution (EGI). From a broader perspective, the Global EIR program attracts international founders to Michigan.

According to eWeek , India-based tech firms support more than 280,000 jobs in the United states, concentrated primarily in California, Michigan, Texas, and Illinois. This industry is responsible for creating a number of green jobs that are supporting not just the green economy, but the U.S. Treasury during the last five years.

He made progress quickly, and I fondly remember the first edition with the green cover. During a book tour for the 1st Edition of Venture Deals, Jason and I visited the University of Michigan. I immediately introduced Mahendra to a bunch of Foundry Group LPs, partners, and entrepreneurs. Mahendra and I kept in touch.

The Vietnam War had just ended and I was out of the Air Force back in college living in Ann Arbor Michigan. Colors other than olive green or camouflage slowly seeped back in my life as “Yes sir, and no sir” faded away. There was only one job that I quit when I feared for my life. Life Is Good.
