As I noted in my post last fall about “ Seven Coming Digital Uber-trends which Are Ripe for Startup Opportunities ,” consumers have an progressively heightened awareness around living green, and the web provides a natural vehicle for connecting people to resources and services which lessen impact of individuals on environment.

A shout out to Logan Green and John Zimmer, co-founders of Lyft here. This could very well be a friend, a spouse, a significant other, a mentor, an advisor, and in rare cases an investor. Co-founders who truly share the emotional load of doing a startup with each other are incredibly lucky.

Post launch, if you gain traction, is where the business person will help take the load off of the technical folks. The business person can take all the meetings while the technical folks work on making the product better. Ron Oh and another factor to bring reality to the table - Sometimes you find out your cofounders suck.
