Given where most deals are this has historically meant NYC and San Francisco but over the years we’ve had big successes in Chicago, Baltimore, Las Vegas and London so we’re open to just finding the best deals. Was it hard to raise the fund? It’s always hard raising money.

I assume that they also had other meetings in LA but they really wanted to meet me. Their plane had to land in Las Vegas unexpectedly to refuel. They came from New York. I had been introduced by a friend. I had no other open slots to meet them that day and they missed their window.
