It was all technical. And my specialty was computer networks. So I went from San Diego to LA to Miami to the south of France. She was paid much more than me and no matter how technical I was, they saw me as the business guy because I graduated with a degree in economics. So that didn’t suck.

Now that all three of those situations have changed, I figured it would be worthwhile to check in with him about living in Miami, going deep into web3 and his latest startup Upstream. Before becoming a founder, I worked at Aviary for two years and then Dwolla for two years (the latter with my future cofounder Michael Schonfeld ).
