Next month I’ll have another round of it, judging both the University of Oregon New Venture Competition and the Rice Business Plan Competition. With that in mind, I’ve recently reviewed an early post, and updated the 10 things I hate most when they come up in business pitches. Instead of that, validate sales by bottoms-up assumptions.

So, Magda can do a simple calculation to figure a good day’s sales, when she is running at full capacity: Lunches are 24 x 10 + 24 x 2, which equals $288.
