Right now, we run programs here in Atlanta (where we started the company) as well as in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Asheville, NC. We actually met taking some web development classes in Chicago. I was doing an early-stage startup in Chicago and Betsy was running a physical product development company in Charlotte that she’d recently sold.

To accelerate that program, President Obama and US CTO Todd Park have created a national event to leverage technology and open data to strengthen our democracy in the United States. The open data movement is great for business, but is also great for us as citizens. On June 1st and 2nd the largest hackathon in the world is forming.
