I started R PublicRelations on a wing and a prayer, but my reputation in the publicrelations world has followed me to success. Now Or Never When I started my publicrelations business, McDuling PR, back in 2007 it was a pretty big step for me. I am not originally Australian – I was born and raised in SouthAfrica and then Ireland, before moving here as a teenager. It is all consultancy based work and requires a lot of input, time and effort.
It was that same weekend that the world took notice of my South Florida-based PublicRelations and Communications agency that had just hit six months – coincidentally named BlueIvy Communications. And with the news came inquiries and curiosities as to how I chose the name BlueIvy for my first company less than a year prior.
How I Got Started In Publicity I don’t think my personal story is particularly interesting and I am still working towards my goals (yes, they do change almost every day!), I was born in SouthAfrica and emigrated with my parents and younger brother, firstly to Ireland, then to Australia, arriving here when I was 14.
