Levels of Agile adoption span the full spectrum across our 6 Scrum teams. The conversation around this sketch provides enough directional insight for the rest of the team to voice any concerns, to begin the estimation process and to start coding. Providing insight early allows the rest of the team to move forward as well.

You have development practices in place (Agile, Scrum, test driven, etc). Your technical lead has good enough business sense to have the full respect of the rest of the management team. Your dev environment (pair programming, silo, etc) matches with how their brain works. See the Joel Test. They believe in you, the founder.
