It is not always a financial transaction; sometimes it comes in the form of managerial or technical expertise. They often invest in the technology industry and in other areas with great potential for growth. They may be interested in consumer products, software, fintech, AI, or green technologies.
Last week, for just the second time ever, I passed on an investment opportunity because of the terms of the deal--both the price and the legal structure of the agreement.
