Africa has most of the elements required for technology innovation. So Mbwana Alliy is creating the Savannah Fund fund to help them.
Their mission resonated with me so asked a few questions about how technology and social media have helped them grow. I had just moved back to the US from living in Uganda working with an artisan group, and was thrilled to find a brand here in Austin that so perfectly aligned with the kind of work I wanted to continue doing.
The agriculture technology sector, or agtech, in Africa is booming and its entrepreneurs think very long term and very big. He knew that the future of farming in Africa depended on technology, but he also knew that there was no point in starting an agtech business before he had the skills he needed. But why is this?

These clinics will now be able to increase their customer base and benefit from the state-of-the-art technology infrastructure provided by MyDawa as a result of these deals. In order to go forward with its expansion goals, MyDawa recently finished the acquisition of Guardian Health, a well-known healthcare provider in Uganda.
